Purple Heart Homes at Access Church

Kick off your week of patriotic festivities by celebrating one of our nation’s returning heroes!

This Saturday evening, June 29, is the kick-off for the Purple Heart Homes / Designing Spaces project for Pvt. Jeff Taylor. Jeff was critically injured in an attack just outside the Baghdad Airport during the invasion of Iraq.

Today he suffers post-traumatic stress disorder, traumatic brain injury, left-leg nerve damage, and hearing loss. Purple Heart Homes and Bank of America are providing Jeff with a new home just a block away from our Losco Campus.

The brief kick-off ceremony will be held at Access Church at 7:00pm, with a color guard, the singing of the National Anthem, and a seven-minute video about PPH. The Designing Spaces producer and camera crew will be on site for the event.
