When we first move into a new house, the basics (walls, floors, cabinets) are all provided. How we make that home ours is determined by what we fill it with. God does the same for us. He gives us the “house,” the structure, our identities, and the tools to fill it. It’s up to us to choose to work to fill ourselves with the virtues that bring us closer to the person others need us to be, who we want to be, and what God desires for us.
