The Living Room (College-Age Environment)
Have you ever been on a boat in the middle of the lake on a beautiful sunny day? What has to happen before everyone dives in to enjoy the cool refreshing water? The boat MUST be anchored! Otherwise the boat will drift away and the relaxing swim will become a hard race to catch the wayward boat.
Unfortunately this happens in life too. Here at Access we’ve noticed a worldwide trend among high school graduates: Approximately 80% drop out of church during their college years! We know this is the time in your life when you need to grow and explore. But if you don’t anchor your life to something strong, you’ll drift. Our answer to this problem is to offer a safe, truthful, and fun anchor for our college-aged adults. It’s called The Living Room.
Join us for the kick-off of The Living Room on May 17, 12:00-2:00pm. We’ll have a FREE lunch and lawn games at Access Church.
Do I have to be an active college student to join?
No! This group is designed for individuals between the ages of 18 and 22(ish).
What other events will be available this summer?
- Lake/Boat Party – June 7
- Tubing at Ichetucknee Springs State Park – Mid-July
- Pool Party – TBA

Will this group be exactly like other community groups?
It will be spiritually based. We will help you plug in to areas of service and we will have several great events throughout the year. But it will not be a closed group. Students will always be welcome to step in and out of the group as their schedule and geographical location allow.

Yes! We will feed you!
Where will we meet?
We are keeping our options open on this one.
